Biography

{ Will Murray Brown }

Now a 20-year-old maths student at the University of Durham (England), Will has been playing music for as long as he can remember - it started with piano, then trumpet, then violin, then cello, and most recently the Chinese Yangqin.
He would never claim to be "good" at any of them, but this broad range has helped him to gain an intuitive understanding of music, which, married with the ecclectic collection of music that he listens to (artists as diverse as Dead Can Dance and Morcheeba, or Tristania and Kate Bush) has allowed him to make music that's free of boundaries; there is no style of music that Will considers to be worthless, and as a result his music defies exact description by a single word.
When asked what kind of music he writes, Will's answer is "I don't know... it's sort of... um... I don't really think about it. I just write stuff and use whatever instruments I feel like. Steel drum, guitar, oboe, harpsichord, synths... whatever fits."
